Thank you for your reply. I could not get into windows at all. So this morning I tried installing ubuntu. It went all the way through the process and I thought it had installed. After rebooting, all it would do is use the disk as a live cd. So all it did, as far as I can tell is uninstall xp. But I can use it as I said, as a live cd.any idea how I can get it to actually install ubuntu or another linux?
