ALL CREDIT TO x3D From NextGenUpdate E3 Card Reader Detailed Video Full Tutorial BEFORE DOING THIS YOU NEED 3.50 TO DOWNGRADE & JAILBREAK! WRITTEN TUTORIALS MADE BY: x3D, NOT VIDEO. Download JAILBREAK & DOWNGRADE files 2. Extract then go to 'Downgrade Files' then 'E3 Card Reader.' Plug in the E3 Card Reader to your computer.

Bring the file 'e3downgrade 12.03.bin' into your E3 Card Reader. Plug in a USB drive, MAKE SURE NOTHING IS IN IT. Go to 'Downgrade Files' then 'USB Drive' then 'Modified 3.41 PUP.' Bring the 'PS3UPDAT.PUP' file to your USB drive. Go back to 'USB Drive' folder. Open the 'Lv2diag.self FILE 1' folder and bring the 'Lv2diag.self' file to your USB stick aswell.

Card Reader Service

Take the E3 Card Reader and USB Drive out of your computer and go to your PS3. Unplug your PS3.

Put the E3 Card Reader in the FIRST USB slot. Plug your PS3 back in.

Press the POWER button then the EJECT button quickly. Once it turns on hold the PS button on your controller and press 'Turn Off the System.' Remove the E3 Card Reader from the USB slot on the PS3. Turn your PS3 on. (POWER button) 17. You will see it says 'Playstation速3 Factory/Service Mode.'

Hold the PS button & press 'Turn Off the System.' Get your USB Drive and plug it in the SECOND USB slot 20. Turn your PS3 on. (POWER button) 21.

It should be on and not be on the screen, it will take a few minutes because its downgrading (2-5 Minutes). Once it's done, the PS3 will turn OFF. Take out the USB Drive and start up your PS3. When it turns on check that your on 3.41, then hold the PS button and press 'Turn Off the System.' (You will still be in Factory/Service Mode) 25. Plug your USB Drive in to the computer.

Open the E3 Card Reader folder on your desktop. Open the 'Downgrade Files' folder. Open the 'USB Drive' folder. Then open the ' Lv2diag.self FILE 2' folder. Delete everything in the USB Drive, then move the ' Lv2diag.self' file in to the USB Drive. Take your USB Drive & put it in the SECOND USB slot. Turn your PS3 on.

Service

(POWER button) 33. The USB Drive will start blinking & your PS3 will turn off. Remove the USB Drive.

Turn your PS3 on. (POWER button) 36. Now it's OUT of Factory/Service Mode. After you turn it on it will look like you just got your PS3 and need to set everything like the time, date, etc back up. YOUR 3.50 PS3 IS NOT DOWNGRADED TO 3.41!

JAILBREAKING WITH THE E3 CARD READER YOU MUST BE ON 3.41! Bring out your E3 Card Reader & plug it in the a USB slot on your computer 2. Open the 'Jailbreaking files' folder. Put the 'e3fw-hermesv4b-kakaroto.bin' file on to your E3 Card Reader. Remove your card reader & hold down the PS button and press 'Turn Off the System.' Unplug your PS3. Put the E3 Card Reader in the FIRST USB slot on the PS3.

Plug your PS3 back in. Press POWER & then EJECT quickly. Take out the E3 Card Reader. Your controller might not work. If that happens plug your recharger cord from your PS3 controller in to the PS3 the FIRST USB slot.
