My husband had the Eggplant Rotelli, the sauce was amazing! Fresh and flavorful!

I had the sliced meatball lasagna.wow! It was a generous size and so very yummy! Loved the ricotta cheese in it! Both came with a piece of garlic bread. The staff was very friendly! The prices were very fair. You can also pick up pasta and sauces from their refrigerated cases to take home and make it yourself!

Don't wait, check this place out.I am going to need a frequent buyer card, or a table named after me, that is how often I will be there!! So I watched this little mom & pop business recently change hands, and I had always enjoyed the lasagna there so I decided to get some for lunch the other day. Went in right before the lunch rush and ordered sausage lasagna. Paid $12 and some change and sat down to wait.

Some guy started bringing in more tables and it got kind of crowded so I moved since I was a 'to go' order. After standing for about 20 minutes (I had been there for at least a half an hour) I asked about my order, since I had stuff melting in the car. The lady checked on my order and said it would be right out. Then she came over and said the garlic bread wasn't toasted, did I want to wait a few more minutes, or would I toast it at home. I told her I'd toast it at home. She handed me the order and I left.

So, I took the lid off of the lasagna and it was pretty meager compared to the prior ownership's portions. I didn't see a sausage anywhere, so I called to find out if they had forgotten it. No, I was told, the sausage was IN the lasagna.

So, I took my fork to look for sausage and honestly, there were about two small pieces of something that might have been meat, looked like mushy dog food and that was on the bottom layer of the lasagna noodles. We decided to taste it and omigosh this was the worst tasting thing any of us had ever put in our mouths. (The sauce was like ketchup and the filling was more like plain ricotta or cottage cheese.just grainy tasteless something). I hate to say this but we felt the sauce was horrible and the entire lasagna just tasted like cold noodles with cold sauce and if there was sausage in there, it was miniscule and well hidden.

Italian Grand Prix Grid Girls

Without eating much more than two bites, it was thrown away. Everyone is hooping and hollaring over how good this place is, but honestly I found the lasagna something I wish I had not spent $12 on.I think lasagna is a basic Italian restaurant meal that plenty of good recipes exist for.but.not here. They seemed like super nice people and all, but this dish was a big disappointment. We won't be back.

It's always nice to support a small family owned business and this Italian Deli has some hidden (besides its recessed location) attributes. For example, they craft a variety of raviolis and are a supplier to local restaurants. From day to day check the refrigerated and frozen coolers in the lobby.

I've had sandwiches and lasagne here over the years but for some reason never wrote a review until now. Driving home hungry in traffic creates several dilemmas: Do I stop somewhere and risk more traffic after eating? Or, can I just go home and save money even if a small mess will need cleaning. Finally, what if I drive past this exit and traffic gridlocked, then I'd be hungry and stuck. Today was a combination rationale, but back roads are available to stay off the freeway.

Keeping it simple I wanted comfort food 101: Spaghetti and meatballs! With garlic bread and a small side salad.

In the future I'll skip the small salad, which is a bit expensive for the size and content. Takes one time to get that detail established, but luckily the meatsauce and meatballs were superb. The wait wasn't long and the pasta filled me up sufficiently for the day's main meal. The garlic bread was perfect for soaking up the extra sauce. All-in-all, a decent deli.

I didn't feel like the display cases had a marvelous selection, hence only four stars, but this might be attributable to their hard to see location. Perfect for lunch on the fly, their market items could be useful for a special meal at home if time permits. Went today to pick up lunch for my family. This is a family owned business and they are super friendly. They have an assortment of Italian cooking staples and a lot of people come in for sandwiches. Will have to try the sandwiches next time. We ordered the lasagna of the day: meatball and some spaghetti marinara for our kiddo.

Italian

Their red sauce is good! I am not one to adore Italian food mostly because finding good Italian is difficult but we were so surprised at the fantastic homestyle go your friends grandmas house yummers this was.

I am not a lasagna person but I would have this again for sure. They have refrigerated take home trays of lasagna, various sauces and frozen raviolis made on site in the fridge. Looks like we are going to make our way around their menu and food!
